    Default Knock sensor

Does anyone know if my car will run without the knock sensor?
What does the knock sensor do?
And what size wrench removes it?
    Lol
    Thanx for any help

If you have no knock sensor then it will throw a CEL and VTEC will not work.

    You have 2 options

    1) Buy a knock sensor an wire it in
    2) Chip your ecu to eliminate your knock sensor

Honda Knock sensors dont do much, so the car will run fine without it, it just wont hit VTEC.

Personally id chip the ECU to remove it, because that beats having to wire it in and purchase one as they can be as much as $80 used
