replace the cat with a high flow cat, or do what I did. I had a catylitic converter code, so I put a 1 1/2 inch hole through the middle of the honey comb inside the cat, no more codes and instant high flow cat. just make sure you blow out all the loose cadmium or it will do more damage than good.

i hollowed it out...light is still on but VTEC transition is alot smoother now

It means there is something wrong with your Cat or O2 sensor
Hollowing the cat out will make it worse.
Buy an O2 SImulator, or replace the o2 sensors/catalytic convertor.
Actually now that you have hollowed the car out , youll have to get an o2 sensor

know anyone who sells simulators? ive read that putting a spark plug spacer on the o2 sensor will make the light go away??

email [email protected] he says he has one he can sell you.
His name is mike

Hollowing out the cat will not ruin the sensor

actually it will, it will let more exhaust vapor though an it will accelerate wear on the rear o2 sensor. I agree though prob not to a point that it would be really noticeable
It will also throw a O2 CEL for catalyst efficiency. Hense the simulator

unplugged the negative for 30 seconds...CEL is gone...who knows, maybe it will come back...

it will come back, it has to cycle\

The rear o2 sensor is made the exact same as the front o2 sensor, its sole purpose is to monitor oxygen storage and compares output compared to the front sensor. It wont damage it.
