    Default Intake filter question

So my intake filter was pretty much beat up n filthy.. so i took it off and replaced it with a net sorta material.. It will stop big things from going in, but not so much dust particles etc. Could this cause any problems? or should i just buy a new filter

if you have a cold air defintly buy k&n or better. if its a shortram put whatever you want on it. wont get exposed enough to matter.

Exposure doesnt matter the air flow through the filter is what matter. If u are saying that he doesnt need to put a filter on it ur wrong. Look at most peoples engine bays and tell me he wount get dirt or worse thing sucked up into his engine. U is a dumb ass for giving people bad advice.

ime not saying run w/out a filter ime saying dont worry about buying an expensive aem or name brand replacement if is not a cai. he can get one of those cheap pepboys replacemnts if its a short ram. i would never say run w/out a filter on any setup. sorry for confusion. and watch who your calling dumbass, dumbass.
