    Default who can install coilovers on a 2003 civic??

    i have some skunk2 coilovers for my civic .. im new to the area. just wondering if you guys have any suggestions on who is a good installer .. ??? thanks

    Vuong's Garage, or you could try to figure it out yourself if you're somewhat mechanically inclined?

    just do it yourself. you dont need that many tools. If you have Wrench, Breaker Bar, Spring Compressor, Balljoint Remover,Jack your good. and you can rent those at Advance auto and get your full refund back after you return it.

    Wtf is a ball joint remover?But yea what he said it aint hard most can be rented.

    i stay in the douglasville area ... i've tried to find a spring compressor everywhere .. and cant find one for rent? and godfather customs wants to charge like 400.00 just to put them on ... F that

    A tool used to remove the Ball joint? its where the lower control arm and the coilover connects at. sometimes its stuck together there so you need to get the ball joint remover. looks like this:

    everyone has their own opinions on what works best for splitting the ball joint and LCA, fork and hammer usually are the causes of busted boots but are cheaper and much easier to find if in need of one. The high tech, fancy BJR is much pricier and may be a little complicated to use for the average joe to use
