    Default EBAY EXAHUST...YAY OR NAY?

I have a 2K maxima and am thinking of buying a cat-back exhaust, not necessarily for hp gains but more for sound. As does anyone have experience with EBAY exhausts. I am very tempted by it because of its very cheap $200 price tag instead of the $600 greddy, HKS, or cattman exhausts. But I would hate to waste $200 on an exhaust that has fitment problems or will sounds horrible and I would rather save up the $600 and buy a quality systems so do you think the EBAY exhaust will be crappy or could it be worth it...

I have an ebay bbp exhaust and 4-2-1 header with an obx hollow cat and I am very pleased with it. no fitment issues and all the welds were nice! I vote yay just take a good look at it before you buy it and be sure you know what you are getting.

Nay, I know someone with one and the crap in the muffler just one day decide to shoot itself out the canister and now it sounds horrible. Fitment and looks were pretty decent though. Unless you just get it for piping and buy a good used muffler to go on it. Still a possibility that it comes out to the same price as a good name brand one.

i have had many many ebay exhausts...probably close to 10... and its all i will run. stainless steel piping is stainless steel piping i dont give **** how much you pay for it. they are mandrel bent, the welding is very nice, they fit great, and they dont sound that ricey...infact they are pretty low toned and quiet. i have heard $700 dollar systems that sound like a dying giraffe and my ebay **** is quiet. you do what you wanna do but if i were you i would buy ebay exhaust and save the remaining $400 for something that actually makes a difference.

This is true for the level people like us are working with...that is street car drivers looking for a little more flow and sound. Go for it. I doubt you'll regret it.
