i'm pretty sure you tint them the same way you tint glass. as long as it's clean and not scratched on the surface you won't see any lines or blemishes in the tint. I work at a dealership and the guy we use does house calls and what not, so I imagine he can tint plastic as well. it should be the same procedure.
