    Congrats on the purchase. Any mods on the car? This might sound pessimistic, but if the car is stock, go over all of the bolts holding the turbo on, IC brackets, etc to see whether the car was ever modified in the past. I dont know too many people that have gotten completely unmolested WRXs, most guys buy them and then start digging around and find bolts not torqued to spec or ECU jumpers on the OBDII plug.

    damn i forgot to add pics... havent had a chance to take any i work nonstop.


    i have gone over the car with a fine tooth comb, nothing was touched. the car was owned by an engineer here in the mid-state, and before that came from california. according to carfax, 1 owner with maintenance records.

    i have already given in and put a stereo in it. i couldn't stand driving without one, i drove it hard constantly.

    added BC Racing BR Coilovers, Cobb swaybars front/rear, Whiteline endlinks, Takata harness, STi shift knob, Cobb radiator shroud, ATI gauge pod (uninstalled)

    Defi gauges coming soon.

    oh yeah, and a leaking headgasket.... Time to dive into the engine!
