    Default 99 Audi Quattro RS4??

hey ive never owned an Audi but I have found one that I am thinking about getting. Its a 99 Audi Quattro RS4, 52k miles, Twin Turbo, 6speed...and so on. It is currently sitting in a field for unknown reasons. It will need a front bumper/passenger fender and passenger door. I am just wondering if there is anything i should watch out for and about what one MIGHT cost (i know this one would be hard to say for sure) Reps for help. Thanks

im not sure all i know is that on the Trunk it says RS4, the dash says Quattro, and the sticker in the door jam says 99...the motor has 2 turbos on it. I cant remember what the decal made into the steering wheel and the small wing on the back says but its Red and Black if that helps...i have 2 pics i took with my cell phone that may help .

This makes no sense. If it is an S4, awesome(but it's definitely not an rs4). But the US didn't get an S4 in 1999, the first year was 2000. I say check everything out and give us information as you get it, price etc. S4's are amazing cars, I'd love to own one.

I know absolutely nothing about Audi cars but it doesnt say S4 anywhere on the car. The trunk reads RS4, the valve cover on the car says 5V....so i have no idea the owner is saposed to call me later and well see what it really is and how much. I will let everyone know for sure tho.

    Thanks

the B5 S4 has a 2.7L V6 bi-turbo motor, making 250hp to the crank (also out of the A6), in europe they had a B5 RS4, it was the same block but with better turbos(K04's), internals, and fueling that made 380hp but they never released a B5 RS4 in the states, as everyone else has said, i think it is a 2000 S4 that was assembled in 99' because the next year model comes out the year before,( like 09' models will be coming out this year), the owner could have just bought the badging but ask him what work is done to it. Hopefully if he put the badging, he built the motor like the RS4 motor.... but if you are looking for a S4 mine is up for sale
    Audi FTW!!!

but for the bumper, i would either go for an oem RS4 bumper or the uberhaus RSR bumper, they both look good and if you wanted a FMIC in the future, the factory S4 bumper wont work, without cutting up the bumper

If the engine cover says 5V then its a 1.8 liter single turbo 4banger that has 5 valves per piston so that means its just an Audi A4 quattro

    Not necessarily.

S4's are also 5 valves per cylinder. The V6 is a 30 valve.

btw: is that gti in your sig the stage 3+ one on porsche wheels?

Gotcha, we've met a few times. Love the car.

True. It would say 2.7 bi turbo.

S4's are awesome cars.. besides the issues with the 2.7t engine and the maintenance that costs more than my Porsche, the power and performance of the car are awesome.. Almost bought one but stumbled upon my c2..

My advice is be very careful..

Also from what i see its not an imported RS4 as cool as that would be, because it has a standard US trunk. Euro plate would not fit in there! Also not only did he add the rs4 badge on the back but also the RS4 front grill... Where is this car, i want that grill !!! Pm me please!!!

Audi's are hella nice and really fun to drive but fixing anything and gas prices kill it.
