    Default discharging ac system

I am removing the entire ac system from my 95 civic soon just to clean up the engine bay. the problem is the system is charged with r134a. I was wondering what is the best way to discharge the system without killing myself. thanks

release it into the atmosphere. r134 doesnt hurt you unless it comes in contact with a heat source, and hell it doesnt even harm the environment.

noo noo.. ermmm you just go open ur hood.. and just twist the caps off and turn it as you please... turn it more when u want to release more but remember to keep your hand on the cap so that it'll freeze you!

the true way to remove coolant in your AC lines is to get it sucked out at a professional shop so that it does harm you, it doesnt harm the environment, and you dont get dirty ... usually its free
