If you want a diff that wont ever need to be replaced again get a Torsen from any 94 up Miata. You will need the entire diff, axle shafts, and driveshaft for the swap.....oh, and $750-1200 depending on gear ratio & mileage.

OK i have found the whole rear drivetrain assembly for $650 if anyone can give me an install quote that would be great....
the drive shaft dif and axles are from a 99 miata... any horror stories from a swap such as this and or adapters im going to have to buy?

No adapters needed. It all bolts in.
You have proof it is a torsen?
Better check to make sure. Might be an open diff.
ill double check but diddnt the 99 come with torsen stock?Originally Posted by metalman
