    Question DOHC head on a SOHC block?

    :confused: just out of curiosity. is there anyway for a DOHC head to fit on a D16y7 block?

    i dont think it will but what the hell

    The D series is a SOHC engine. The B, K, and H series have DOHC. As far as I know there is no way in hell to mix a head with one series and put it on another series block. I had a ricer once tell me you can't put a GSR head on a B16, but you can put a ITR head on a B16. Ricers need to change a few more things than the rear lights to Altezzas. HAHA!

    i believe there's a d series motor that's actually a dohc. I think it's an obd0 motor that you could put a dohc head on, but that's only cuz it was dohc to begin with. maybe i'm wrong...

    Yea the zc that came in the older models is a dohc but I dont know if it will bolt to the d model motor

    Theres a guy who did some custom work a put a zc head on a d15 block I believe. Its on honta tech somewhere.

    I know that you can put a F22b which is a DOHC head on any F22. They came in early 90 accords and its not that bad of a swap.
