So how much money is really going into this project? Most evos run 12's with minor BPU, so can we safely assume a nice low 11sec car? With the big turbo setup, on 28psi this car should make 450+awhp (probably closer to 500) depending on the tune of course. Evochick, is it safe to assume this much? Just curious...

good luck w/ that XS power turbo...i have heard some horror stories about those, the compressor housings cracking completely in half. other than that their products are pretty good i guess..you might wanna put some bracing on the exhuast manifold bc they tend to crack at the welds bc they are welded on a machine so you can't get good penetration and a good bead like someone hand tig'ing it would do.

I'm no expert on Evo's by far but you may just want to save your money and do a little more research. Seriously if you want to gain a lot of knowledge ask charles (ct9a gsr) where he hangs out at, the man has endless amounts of knowledge on the Evo and he will point you in the right direction... plus his car is kind of fast.
for one i did not get my parts off of ebay and another it is not just a whaal shop anymore they have upgraded they are putting a pro charger on a mustang now so as i said before you say anything about other shops do your reasherch i dont care if people dont like me but this went to hell quick like cause people dont care about anything but them self on here but thanks to anyone who helped me out

I've seen those numbers but a lot of those are not at 8 psi. Typically depending on the motor (either 5.0,4.6 sohc,4.6 dohc) and turbo a v8 car will make between 350-500 rwhp with 8 psi. We are talking single turbo as well as twins are a completelly different animal. So yes,they are way off from 600-700 rwhp. I have a turbo mustang so i know somewhat what i'm talking about.
The 700whp mustang stuck in my mind after I saw that site, I didnt pay attention to the other ones. I'm amazed at how much HP they're making at low boost
yeah but the 720 rwhp was at 20 psi. That car was actually tuned locally here by Tim Barth of modular powerhouse. And yeah a good flowing V8 doesn't need much boost to make good power. There is no replacement for displacement remember.
