    Default help help help ASAP

    Ok i replaced the auto tranny in my d16z6 del sol and im almost done but when i stick the driver side axle into the hub i can get the ball joint into place. Its about a half of inch of gap. need some advice. I pretty sure the axle is pushed all the way in the transmission

    I just realized this was an auto tranny.. no experience there. good luck man...

    I'm not following the question. Is your question about the CV axle or about the ball joint? The easiest thing about hondas is that the CV axles are gravy to install. If your question is related to the CV axle, take a rubber hammer and pound the CV axle in or install the nut on backward to make the end flush then hold the axle level and pound at it(providing the transmission is for the D16z6 and the the splines are lined up properly). For the ball joint, which ball joint did you loosen up, the upper or the lower? I usually loosen the lower and take out the strut through bolt (with is a 17mm nut and bolt) and let it drop down that way. Please be more specific please, or provide pretty pictures.

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

    ok yeah i loosened to lower ball joint. I can get the axle in the hub without any problems. But i can get the lower balljoint back on its a half a inch off from the hole

    figured it out boot was stuck not letting it slide back enough


    thanks for the help. Didnt think the boot would be cause the problem

    Push upwards on the upper control arm while trying to pull it over???

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.
