Stupid Nissan can't make anything easy. 2007 redesigned crank got fully counterballanced and a new redline of 7k, way better thn the 6.25k I get now. I figure I should be able to get 7.2k or so out of a hybrid bottom end and make some good power (not that what I make now is shabby). I just had to figure out how to make get from the new wheel to the old style wheel. So I called a local metal fab shop, dropped off a design, had them put it in CAD and cut me some parts.

    Nissan sometimes

I'll have some flow bench numbers for the stock head soon. They're rumored to rival the K20 and F20 Honda heads as far as CFM.

For a good Idea on the bottom end as far as stroke, rod length, bore, piston speed, check out a F24 or F20 stroker build that uses a K24 crank and H22 rods. I might spin this ***** 8k.

lol I saw this thread was pretty one sided. I know personally my idea of a hybrid build is an SR with BC valve springs and retainers but HKS cams haha

in this installment of WTF is this for:

Trimmed a little off a runner pipe to test fit. After smashing and forming to an oval to match the runner profile............. no stretching needed, no removing extra material, just a perfect fit.

The plenum extrusion got dropped off at Laser Tech to be put into CAD. After it's put in CAD the plenum will be cut with lasers and welded up to put the proper taper in in the plenum and an good angle to the inlet. If everything goes as planned, it'll be drill and tapped for both a QR and VQ throttle body, and dual flux capacitors.
