    Default e36 front lip

so I bought an lip for my e36(decided not to go with an m3 front bumper due to popularity) . and test fitted and it was just too low. My car is already dropped and if I install the lip I would only have 2 and a half inches from the ground. I'm afraid it was bust and crack etc. any other solution without having to swap out the shock and springs?...

That's the chance you take when you want to run a lip and lowered car. I'd suggest the M3 bumper with an oem polyurethane lip that flex's. What car is it and what lip did you get?

Yo Timmy, I called my friend and he said he dropped the Bimmer scene but he only really knew stuff about e30's. From reading his posts DinanM3ATL definitely knows a thing or two about e36's. But really, get the e30 . Lol.

DinanM3ATL is the man!!! and nooo e30. Don't wanna drop anymore money on another car. Thinking about selling the lip now and just get an m3 front bumper etc. Or maybe if I can find a nice turbokit for the low that would be great too.

    e36 325i?

    Year?

PM Techno550 on bimmerforums. SICK, quick spool on the m50 325i. His 325i makes ~300hp and doesn't feel like it is turbocharged but it SKOOTS!

haha I only want 300 to 350. And my budget for parts alone might be around $2000 in mid march.

Hold out and put that money in the bank. Save up and go with Mike's kit. TRM is his company and it is in Suwanee. Don't worry about cobbling something together on the cheap. It never ends all that well...

Older thread, I know. But if you're still looking, go check out DDMTuning.com. They have the E36 M3 bumpers for right around $100, maybe even a little less, IIRC. Same bumper that Turner Motorsport and many of places sell for atleast $250.

As far as E36 M3 bumper lips, the Max Velocity RS and GTR are nice, but they just look like an enlarged stock lip, not worth the $250+ they sell for, IMO. I like the Rieger GT Cup Spoiler like DinanM3ATL has, I think they're around $240 shipped these days though..

yea I checked it out not too long ago. its like $112. which is an awesome deal. I just haven't check how much shipping would be. I found a front lip I wanted. so I'm saving to get everything in a package. the m3 side molding, m3 front bumper, and the front lip. I can worry about the mirror and rear bumper later.

Personally if I had a non-M E36, I wouldn't do the M3 mirrors. Waste of money, IMO. Non-M E36's can still look great without the M mirrors. The front bumper and side moldings are almost a must though.

Which lip are you looking to get?
