3rd gen eclipse problems

I have a 03 eclipse gts and im having a problem with my brake lights. Whenever i left off the break the lights stay on for a min before they go off. Its becomming a big problem when i park to go to work and after 3 or 4 hours when i go to lunch and i see my break lights are on. Usually if i tap it after i let off the break they are ok. Is there a senser on the break pedel that could be sticking out what. HELP ME!!!!!!

You might want to hit up some 3g Eclipse forums and search. The car has been out long enough for there to be at least one other person with the same problem. Search for keywords.
