Default Soldering ECU Problems. Redlines at 3100. WTF ?

Okay, the car is a DA9.

    - Replaced a JUN Aftermarket chip.
    - Soldered in a JUN Chip, two chips were actually given when ordered.
    - Installed/Soldered the Chips where they were suppose to go.
    - Hooked up ecu and everything.

Now when I turned the car on it doesn't want to rev above 3,100 RPM. It just redlines at that.

sounds like it is in limp mode meaning that something got messed up while soldering.. or everything is not making full connection.. how good are your soldering skills. i know my first ecu did the same thing. but now, i never have one fail on me..

yeah, what i was thinking. it's easily possible he could of ripped a track out on the board.. that's what happened to me on my first ecu experiment.

ummm when your looking at a circuitboard.. its those silver goldish lines that go everywhere, just think of them as wires inside the board
