and if your making power too..your bound to backfire

a 3.0 is not a big motor. back fire on a stock exhaust? or is the exhaust modified?

^see that helps. maybe a tune up will help out. check ur plugs and cap/rotor and see how worn they are.

well no matter in what gear i am in the car makes some sort of whinng noise (its hard to describe the noise) i could be in a low rmp and as soon as i let go of the gas it makes the nois but once i put my foot on the gas everythin is good i really think it may be the throw out bearing going bad ..
how do u know? u dont have a G20. im pretty sure they do....but im not at work so i cant tell you.
