    Default tach jumping

    ok so when i hit vtec my tach starts jumping back in forth i checked all the dizzy plugs everything is fine so what could it be

    your ignitor/coil is going out in the Distributor.

    replace them

    then its a ground.

    The Tach gets it signal from the distributor/coil/ignitor. when it starts to jump, thats usually it.

    Try a different distributor
