    Default Boost Issue

So last night , one of the first frigid nights I started driving with my new protune. I noticed a few things.

Car pulls extremely hard and builds boost extremely fast.

However, in 4th gear I noticed on the highway at WOT, the boost would jump from 10psi to 20psi and back down, and repeat. It would just bounce back up and down. So I reset my ECU and the problem started to go away.

    Any ideas?

on cold nights cars tend to boost spike from the dense air. do you have a prodrive boost control solenoid or just factory?

FYI i had to turn my boost controller down on the silvia 7% because i was doing 15psi on the same settings i was doing 12 psi last week

A boost spike is nothing more than an over boost. As in if he is supposed to run 18 and hits 20 thats spike. Nemesis said that it showed a 10psi-20 and than back down and back up again. How did the car feel while you were doing this?

    Get any fuel cuts?

I'm hitting full boost 500-700 rpms sooner, and about 2 psi higher.
