idk, but that would be SWEET. but a 20b only came in like 1 mazda car and i think its in japan. 13b is what was in rx-7s
a 13b turbo might be more reasonable though, can still get pretty damn good numbers. FD rx7s had 13b which made 217hp stock. the FC engines (probably more common and had like 185hp.

Is this a track car or show car? If it is a track car, I think you should go with another route, rotary are very expensive to maintain.

Fundamentals are the same but I don't know how much of a length difference there is having that extra rotor. The 20b was available in the jdm 929 btw.

Just so you know. As much as I have read about the 20b swap, there is nothing drop-in about it. Expect upwards of 6 grand for a mild swap. And that's being conservative. 4 for the motor and then the fabrication begins.

Oh and think about this part of it. 2 rotors to 3 rotors. 50% more motor. Where are you going to position it? Align the rear of the 20b at the point where the 13b was? That adds the 50% more motor weight in front of the front axle line - Bad. Align to the front? Have fun with the firewall... and not to mention moving the trans back approximately 6 inches.

Come on!!! Rotary engine is so light that extra rotory is not going to throw the balance of anyways. And 2 rotors to 3 rotors means 50% more motor?? I really do not know much about rotory engines, but the math is just not doing for me...Originally Posted by Einstein
