    Default nitrous worth it?

Is spending 500$+ for a nitrous kit worth it on a stock block?that can prolly only withstand a 25shot? what do yall have running? or think about it.

i have a dry setup and i started with a 35 that put me at 380 to the wheels and i have to get tuned for a 50 and 75. But the zex kit only took about an hour to install and in my case it was worth it

Our stock can handle up to about 50 shots with colder plugs safely. If you want add some rods ands pistons. so you can do 200 shots, safely.

Nitrous doesn't break parts. Horsepower breaks parts, and ignorant installation breaks parts.

Im running a 55 now used to have a 75 on my stock motor with zero problems and my friends accord, same year as yours, 4 cylinder SOHC has a 75 on the stock motor. No problems and he's been though 4 bottles now.

ok ric how do u figuer that one, to me it was easier bc wen u spray a big shot and u dont have the extra fuel its bad but if u can add the extra fuel u wont risk blown something

Dry kits are easier/faster to install than a Wet kit but I prefer wet. A 50 shot on any motor should be safe as long as you have enough fuel, anything bigger then colder plugs is preferred and you'll want to start messing with timing or things could go KabOOm.

but yeah I think it's worth it, what else can put down a minimum of 20 WHP for $400?

Nitrous is good for three things, v8 cars, intercooler spray, or blowing your motor... 25hp is not worth it, you can get more hp with that $500 (just my opinion)

    You are officially ghey >

First of all using nitrous for intercooler spray does NOTHING (show me a dyno chart where they sprayed the IC & made power) and nitrous depending on what shot you're using should give you at least a MINIMUM of 25 WHP and can go up to a few hundred WHP. In MOST (98%) cases you can't beat HP:$ ratio with nitrous.

ok I never said it gave you hp on the i/c, but it will save your turbo... yeah its the quickest way to get a lot of power, but its not safe for the motor unless you have good internals... o, and glad you think I'm "ghey little man" grow up

Umm how will it save ur turbo?

Not being an ass but nitrous is the biggest bang for your buck.

Oh yeah, it wont **** up ur engine on stock internals if you know what ur doing.

by keeping everything cooler, the hotter a turbo gets (witch runs like 2-3 times hotter than your engine) the thinner the oil is witch in term can lead to a barring going out or complete loss of the turbo... and what do you mean if you know what your doing?? explain have you kids ever ran NOS?? ever had a car with it?? run a 75shot for a month then change your oil and see if you want to keep it. Eventually that **** is going to blow

I ran an 80 shot on my STOCK engine for a long time with no problems except for an injector freezing shut. That had nothing to do with the fact that my internals were stock. It had to do with the fact that I was stupid and didn't upgrade my injectors. That is not the nitrous's fault.

WTF does being ASE certified have to do with nitrous? You know how to fix cars. Congratulations.

I have ran nitrous for over 9 years, so don't come at me talking like you can step to me about nitrous knowledge.

spraying your intercooler does not cool the turbo.the intercooler is after the turbo. spraying the intercooler helps cool the air from the trubo going through the intercooler then into the motor, and what does cooler denser air = more hp and lessens the chances of detonation

and yeah nitrous is fun but when your bottle is gone im still spoolin.think about it.

Damn right bro,And on top of that spraying the intercooler really only helps if it is real hot and your at the track and u want to stop heat soaking

I've been running a 75 shot on my accord for a while now. Its a NX wet kit, and i've had no issues (except my auto tranny, but it would have gone regardless). Its worth it...esp if you buy a kit used!
