    Default tranny slipping...

so my transmissions 3rd and 4th synchro are going out and i'm looking into getting a new/used one. first question is what should i replace it with if 'm planning on boosting it fairly soon, as in what model tranny would be better( cx, ex, si, dx)?second question is does anyone know someone who is selling one, or a place who sells good product for the low low? if there are any other mods you would suggest while i have all the tranny shit out of the car please suggest it.
its a 95 civic ex with a jdm d15 sohc vtec

    P20 Si tranny

as far as mods, it depends on how much you want to spend. I'd recommend a good clutch, flywheel and LSD.

yeah, its out of the EG Si hatches, it's a total bolt in for your car.

the clutch and flywheel are probably $200-300 each, and the LSD all depends on what brand you go with. You can get a used OEM LSD semi cheap, and aftermarket ones range from a few hundred bucks to well over $1,000

    it's a 92-95 Civic hatchback.
your car, being the coupe is an EJ. In your years, the Si is just the hatchback version of the EX.

as far as where to find it, summit racing should have it, as would nopi.

a 92-95 civic hatch is not an EG, it is an EH2 or EH3. an EG is from japan or any other foreign country and is right hand drive

oh ffs dont get technical with me. In general conversational reference, they're EG's.

    ..and it's still a 92-95 hatchback.
