Gettin some sleeves and springs at the end of the month, anybody got some tips/suggestions/advice about *almost*coilovers, to make them last as long as possible??

Oh, and....if you have coilovers/springs/sleeves on your car, can you tell me how much it was to get them installed? id like a ROUGH estimate on the install... That'd b much appreciated

advice from anyone who buys parts. do it right the first time. spend the extra money on the real stuff, TEIN BASICS.

do it yourself, it requires almost NO tools

if you are only doing a mild drop, why get coil overs? Just get a 1" or so Eibach or similar brand set of coils and keep it easy and clean. Coil overs .... only if you wanna play with it or slam it out. Also....get a Haynes manual and some hand tools....youll have one of the front struts out in 15 min...just read the manual on how to remove\install the struts...EASY. Oh...and go borrow STRUT SPRING COMPRESSORS from Autozone....do NOT get COIL SPRING COMPRESORS...there is a difference....I found out the HARD way. LOL

Its a 1996 pontiac sunfire. In the front, its gonna drop a BIT more than 1inch, and in the back, probably 2 - 2.5inches. (the suspension in the back is REALLY kicked up....)

And, im not getin COILOVERS exactly, but im gettin springs and sleeves so i can supposedly adjust how much lowering i want/need. And, i DO wanna play with it, sortof. As long as im not spending ALL my time adjusting and readjusting, and readjusting over and over again, i can live with messin around with it a lil bit.

i installed and uninstalled (too low) in about two hours on mine.... depending on how low it is you might want to get new struts too

sunfore, go with springs... coils are going to bounce the car, and no matte when you drop car..whether 1/2" or 4", always buy a camber kit...trust me...do waste your tires, unless youre sponsored..and i presume you dont want to buy tires bi-annually...but when you need tires...discount tire co.. ill be there!

Okay....well, on NOPI, they dont have a ''camber kit'' for my car, but they have something like an alignment component, is that pretty much the same thing as a camberkit?

    Its basically, these things....
