    Default 2001 Honda Civic Problems

So my girlfriend's civic coupe has a couple of problems.

    1. The gauge needles don't light up when she turns on her parking lights.
    2. The parking lights don't light up BUT the back up lights, brake lights, and side marker lights all do light up.

If it's a fuse which fuse is it for the civic, if not could there be a short somewhere in the wiring under the dash?

    Thanks in advance.

Fuse, happened to me a couple of times. If the gauge light don't work then the tail lights don't work when you turn on the headlights.

i put in new bulbs for the parking lights. When I look at the fuse diagram it doesn't say instrument panel or tail light fuse, which one is it? Why do Honda's not label their Tail fuses?

Yeah the two main fuse boxes are under the steering wheel and under the hood. After looking at the fuse manual there is not a fuse listed as the tail or instrument fuse. Which number is the fuse?

they have it wired like that so you know when to fix the fuse or taillight bulb, because you will never notice that your taillight bulbs are out, most cars are like that especially imports.. first person to notice is always the police...lol

check all of the fuses if you have to...
