    Default MOTOR Mount question... please help asap

    i have a swap in my car performed my mainstream... well... i was just wondering what would cause a Avid Racing Engine Mount to drop in half... yes, just like completly seperate from the top half. if you dont get what im saying, im talking about the mount on the passanger side that connects from teh trany to the body?

    THe mount broke in two?? 1 Bolt through the mount and 3 to the tranny .... where did it break or seperate?

    my guess would be to much tq or faulty part or maybe over tightened?

    the mount was installed crooked... There are a about 5 mm of play with the braket back there.. so like if the engine is twisted alittle bit.. that mount will be in a bind.. plus thoes mounts have NO give like the factory ones..
    there is where your problem lies

    ill post up pics tomorrow to try to show you alittle better. its kinda hard to explain, but i took the mount off of the body, and turns out that, where the bolts go into the mount to connect them, stripped out, and only in one hole. so im thinking that there was only one bolt to start with

    well since mainstream did your swap, the best thing to do is maybe take the car to them or tell them what happened
