    Default maxima/altima question

    would a 5spd maxima tranny bolt up to a 01 altima?

    Why don't you just find an altima with a 5 speed and bolt it up. Better yet, find an Altima SE and bolt it's tranny right up. The SE's come with an LSD. All years. But you'll have to take the CV axles too

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

    i have a 01 SE... but all year SE tranny's will bolt up with no problem?

    also what are all the parts i would need to have it ready to drive

    Not too certain. But most of all the hard parts, like the pedal assembly, clutch slave and master cylinder, flywheel the aforementioned CV axles, MTX wiring harness, ECU swap to prevent the trans light from annoying you. I'd ask that question over on www.altimas.net and see what they say about it.
