Default So which is better? removing intake resonator or drilling airbox?

I've got the K&N panel filter installed, and i wanna get some more flow, and i've done some research, tried to find some youtube vids, etc. but i just cant find what im really looking for.

Im looking for a ''step-by-step'' guide on how to remove the intake resonator...

Or....would swiss-cheese drilling my airbox do anything? Which one's better?

even indian riceboys like yousef spent the money on a real intake.
go to autozone and spend 50 bucks on a pod filter from K&N or AEM

Intake ''Silencer''.....makes it all EXTRA quiet.

Just spend your money on a good filter. Spoon uses the stock Honda box in their race cars b/c it gives you much better high rev throttle response. It kinda sucks (or doesn't suck enough as the case may be) at low RPMs, but you can actually feel how much better the engine will behave with all that crap still attached. It has to do with the vacuum that is created in that resonator when your engine gets up to higher revs. The vacuum increases the air speed into the whole system while still maintaining a surplus of air, JIK you mash on the throttle. The Spoon guys have a much more eloquent explanation, but thats basically it. I would have never believed it until I tried it.

If I were you I would not buy a K&N for my stock air box if I was planning on buying a CAI soon anyway. You should have just put that money towards the CAI. Get a cheap ebay CAI and buy a good filter for it.
