    Default VAFC fuel controller vs. vtec controller?

    i have 04 civic ex...i would like to buy either the apexi fuel controller or the vtec controller but not sure which is better and will give me more hp?! any suggestions or comments on which one i should buy?

    But the Apex-i VAFC controls fuel AND VTEC. So your set!

    does the VAFC allow me to set the vtec to kick in at whatever rpm i set it to? how much hp would it give me? is it worth it? thanx

    yes it will allow you to CONTROLL VTEC .. as far as horsepower .. it gives 400 +

    VAFC will only give you so much hp, it all depends on if you know how to tune or not

    I wouldnt mess with vtec, in a fairly stock car like yours. You wont see too much gains out of it ,and dont expect to see much more power.

    also some people think it's smart setting VTEC really low

    convert your GSR to an LS w00ty w00t

    or in your case d17 to a non vtec d16 (yes, vafcII can actually destroke the motor, i was surprised when i found out as well... i think its only on VAFC2 tho vafc1 can only change bore size)
