    Default taillights question?

    My friend got an accord its a 93 2dr the thing is that at the lights when you turn them on at nights only the headlights work the whole back taillights are off only if he presses the brakes will they come on but to stay steady is what they wont do... i cheked the bulbs fuses, and cant figure it out? any help ..Thanks..

    Was this Accord on 285 last night around 11pm then got off to go north on 400? Saw one with no tailights but did have brake lights...

    yeah i think the wiring is messed up. and na not the same accord.

    any clue on how much redoing the wiring would cost?

    I think it has to do with the wiring my honda did that and i went and got it checked and they said it was the wiring....good luck!

    well i had to pay $almost $200. but it was right when i got my car. or if u can find someone to check it out on the DL...I might know someone.

    Could be something as simple as a ground or a bulb pushed in too far. I'd made sure all the fuses are ok, maybe swap that one fuse out anyways just to make sure it's not bad, then I'd remove all the affected bulbs and inspect them and their sockets. Maybe even a squirt of contact cleaner in each. (not eye contact cleaner silly )

    If nothings changed then you figure out where the last place the power is, you never know...someone could have wired the ground or hot/power on for a speaker box and amp in the back to one of the taillights and screwed everything up. I've seen worse, haha.

    thanks speedminded good points....reps to you...also accord_wifey let me know of that place you got it done or the people you know,, ill try what speedminded stated and if it does not work then i shall call an expert to rewire it for my friend..Reps to you too...Thanks
