    Default Cracked Head

Okay im looking at buying a 95 honda prelude Si the int. is really clean an the body is okay minus one dent that can be pulled. It has a JDM F22b in it but it has a cracked head. I was just wondering what my options were on how to fix it? a New F22b head? or will another head fit it? what other motors will work with the trans? he only wants $700 and i think i can talk him down to $500. Oh and i don't care if its slow or fast i just want to keep miles off of my Tiburon an my GFs civic so we want this little project car...thanks!

Is it still on the H23 ECU or is the F22 ECU swapped? I guess that would determine what route.

are 100% positive it has a cracked head? pull the head off and take it to a head shop and get it cracked check (unless it is off the car and they already did it).

but i agree, buy a used head. car-part.com

Nah im not sure, thats what they told me though. And I figure if it was the gasket or anything then water got in the motor and has been sitting for over a year so theres no telling the condition of it.

sounds like a new motor would be the reliable option
You only live once, maybe twice if you use the e-brake!
