    Default Removing Civic Steering Wheel

Anyone have any advice on taking out a 99 Civic EX steering wheel. I was thinking of swapping it with the Si steering wheel cause it has the leather wrapping. Is it too much hassle? I was looking at the steps in my Hanyes Manual and it doesn't look too bad. I just don't have the tool to take the Torx Bolt out with.

i switched out my 02 civic steering wheel for an s2k steering wheel, rewired it so the airbag would work and cruise control would work (most time consuming part).

but my buddy who was a honda tech did it for me, taking off the wheel and putting a new one in its spot wouldnt be hard if the harnesses hooked up. which year Si steering wheel are you wanting (ep3 wheels are nice)

It should be no problem, I put a 00 Si wheel on my 98 coupe. Just don't forget to leave the nut on when you are pulling on the steering wheel, If you take the nut completely off, the steering wheel could bust you in the face when it finally comes loose.

...and always put the airbag face up when setting it down somewhere.
