    Default Oil Change on a Mini?

    GF has an 03 mini cooper non S. Its time for an oil change, but ive heard your supposed to use mini specific oil. What is mini specific oil and is it necessary? I assume its available at the dealer...but im wondering if it'd be ok to just use Mobil 1 Synthetic.

    ass...haha i just read somewhere that mini uses castrol syntec...so i think im good
