    In w/ passat wagon, 3 door dings in 3 weeks,(one to metal and one the size of a golf ball) and a stolen wheel cap makes an 07 look like a 87.
    Still cruising around unchipped, stock wheeled, and fully dropped. I have become good at storing money vs spending, I am getting old now.

    getting old sucks!!! makes you ; you start saving instead of spending... i've wanted my lotus for years and i'm actually having to talk myself into car shit now a days (as of now i still plan on buying one)

    Had a 96 vr6 GTI flipped it and bought my 05 1.8T gti Indigo Blue 5spd. Just ordered coilovers and trying to decide on the many choices of wheels out there.

    I know Mk3 auto transmissions are really bad but I didn't know the Mk4s had trouble with them as well.

    Paul, Get the lotus, my buddy has one and its retarted what you can do and not actually die. Not so much fast as no need for brakes.
    I am looking at bigger houses, enjoying simply modded cars, and enjoying family. When we put the show car away recently and started a few new hobbies, I didnt envision not missing car stuff. I just am over all the drama and politics associated w/ most "organized" events now. I'd rather be fishing. Holy crap, I am turning into my dad!

    Still here, just mostly a silent observer, and i thought i was the only one trying to sell my car

    BTW. . .14K with all mods and custom paint 13.5K without sound system.

    Also anyone have any hookups for a glove box, my stupid door handle broke off

    Ah that sucks. That will be $150 because you have to buy the entire assembly. Call eurosource, they may have a glovebox sitting around. IDK.

    Im new to the site but im in. I got a 94' jetta. i dont have many mods but i got a techtonics dynomax catback exhaust w/ a 3" tip, CF shift knob, sport pedals ,smoked taillights, and fresh paint. still have some big plans for this car in the future...

    and yes, it has been chipped since day 1. and got a turbo upgrade after 100,000 miles.
