    Default Civic with RT4WD (AWD)

Could i swap this into a newer civic? Late late 90's. I mean the AWD part of older civics into a newer civic.

if it were, i'd imagine it would be an awfully common swap...

As i've never seen it before... Let's just say i doubt it.

I always wondered if you could take the awd drivetrain out of a subaru svx and swap it into a toyota yaris... You know... they're both japanese.

    Just a thought.

totally dude... the only problem is that the drivetrain from the zo6 is longer than the actual aveo... so you have to run the whole setup without a driveshaft clutch or transmission.

you'd be better off trying to fit the awd drivetrain from a cr-v..... it's been done on an integra before, so why not do it on a civic?

its been done, but the AWD setup/ tranny from the 90's AWD civic will only work with a D series motor (without crazy fabbing). Even then its a good bit of fabbing

IMO its not worth it... Now the CRV setup is a bit more modern, but even then its a lot of $$ and fabbing.... its cheaper/better to just get like a eclipse GSX hahaha my 2cents
