please tell me you are kidding, because that is retarded.

Believe me, I am probably the most pro 7m person on this forum and I still wouldn't waste my time swapping it into anything that wasn't a direct bolt-in application... And a non turbo motor? Honestly you should be taken out to the backyard with old yell'er and put out of your misery.

If you are going to do anything that rediculous at least make it a stock turbo 7m... At least they are SOMEWHAT buildable... The mk3 guys giving those n/a motors away for free should tell you exactly how much potential they have... none.

Once again... I pray that you are kidding.

YOu have no idea what you are talking about , an the only reason why someone would do a 7mgte in a 240sx is because they are too stupid and too poor to do a 1JZ or a 2JZ.

If you know anything about Supra motors, the 7mgte is a turd. at least with a 1JZ you have potential.

ANd if u r the most pro 7m person on this forum, help out instead tryin to bitch out. If it wont bolt up, then say so. This is a project, not my DD.
Im not the most PRO 7MGTE person on here, because i know they suck, are a waste of money , and absolutely pointless.

Wont bolt up? what the fuck do you think. a TOYOTA motor into a NISSAN chassis?

Get a clue, do some research man, there are guys doing 1JZ and 2JZ swaps all around the nation, some people RIGHT HERE in GA. YOu need mounts, wiring, ic piping, driveshaft, shifter, radiator, hoses, clutch llines, fuel lines, etc

ANd to use a 7MGTE is stupid, your better off doing a SR20, way easier, similar power.

And if yo dont think i know what im talking about, here is my OLD car:

lol gotta love the all-out 7m bashing.

I haven't had anything but good experience with mine... Probably the most reliable car i've ever owned. If you want some examples of well built 7mgte cars...

but moral of the story... if you are looking to do something different... look somewhere else because a 7mswapped 240 is not worth the time or money... and just take my word on that.

Ur right. A 1JZ would be a hell of a lot better. But dont say "absolutely retarded", I didn't come up with the idea. A friend of mines did.
