How long have you been riding on the street?

If you are a new rider, I would not suggest a 1 liter bike. Get an affordable starter bike first instead.

If you have been riding for a LONG time on the street and are already used to 1 liters, why are you asking this question? Get a 600 or 750, and you will be just as fast. How often do you need to go faster than 150mph on the street?

The warranties are BS, but you might wanna get that GAP protection if your not gonna put full coverage on your bike, could be helpfull down.

i wouldnt recommend getting a gsxr 1000 for your first bike like everybody else has said i would start with a 600 or 750 but a 600 is plenty fast enough i have a 1000 now and it would both me to go back to a 600 not one bit there isnt alot of difference besides the torque and one gets to 170 faster than the other but hey its your decision and moutain adventures has some brand new 600 and 750 for pretty good deals

uh you shouldnt be getting a gixxer 750 either for a first "daily" street bike. i would definently say go with a 600.

and if your worried about being able to affored one you definently need to get a 600 because of insurance costs. btw do your self a favor and get a used one if you buy a new one your going to take a big hit on depreciation soon as you ride off with it..

I wouldn't realy see the point in a bike over 600 cc's with the level of power bikes are producing now. I wouldn't buy a new one because they depreciate so badly, and if you get a suzuki you probably wouldn't use the warrenty anyway!
