I have a 98 Civic EX with a B18C1 swap in it. What would I have to do to make the OBD2 P72 work in my car? Do I have to do some re-pinning?
Thanks![]()

well 98 civics are obd2a and I don't know if your p72 is obd2a or obd2b if is obd2a you should have no problem if is obd2b you will need a adapter harness that converts from obd2b to obd2a.
Im thinkin the OBD2 P72 is screwed up some how. I have a P28 that I was gunna chip and get the harness for it. I think I can get an OBD1 P72 and then get a harness. Not sure what to do yet. I dont want to get the OBD1 P72 and chip it if Im going to have the same problem.
i have a crome chipped obd1 p72 let me know if you want it.
What kind of maps are on that chip? Got any specs on it? Id like to run a stock base map with out sensors that are not needed.
I'm not sure since it came with the car when i bought it, but the previous owner said one chip was tuned for boost on pump gas;the other on race gas. i also have a jdm p13.
Why do you say it is screwed up?

I have a perfectly good running car with some kind of small problem.
thats because you cant drive my four door haha .. fix it so i can drive my car haha
F you BUDDY!!! You need to come off that damn JDM header. I need it more than you.
You can try ebay for another P72
Think Im gunna buy a jumper and chip a P28.
you also have to rewire for the GSR manifold (secondaries)
