EF problem

need to know what the alternator solenoid valve is and does. Need to know where it is located in car. Having break light issues. the lights work but when I press the brakes the brake lights don't work. I checked the fuses, and the bulbs. Any suggestions or ideas on what may be the problem?

Have you checked the brake light switch that is on the top of the pedal. If you say the driving lights work but no brake lights then it has to be in the switch. Later.

probley the switch or the plug for the switch. Check them out or replace the switch. Thats the only thing I can think of other than fuses, blubs, and wiring.
