    Question valve cover polishing

    ok so far i stripped the paint off and hit with 100 grit with a palm sander then i went back over with 220 300 500 600 800 grit and this is what i got ( see pics) then i tried a polishing wheel on a drill and it didn't crap so any suggestions on what to do now??

    did u use polish?

    not actually a polishing wheel, but a can of "mothers mag/aluminum wheel polish'

    thats what brings the shiny.

    i tried eagle one polish its a cloth wadding should i go up to 2000 grit cause it still has some crap on it
