INtake and exhaust

So Im looking for a intake for my ridgeline and exhaust. Now the cat back exhaust cost from 450-700. I wonder if I cna just get a performance muffler from a car and it would be the same? ALso Im thinking of this intake, what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...8783&rd=1&rd=1

an intake is an intake. the only thing i'd be worried about is the filter. which is always replaceable with a K&N or whatever.
