You will need o find a shop that has done previous cage work for NHRA. They do inspect the cage for real races. Make certain the kit is a legally allowed one. Read the rulebook first.

exactly, a legal 10 point installed is going to run like $2,500 minimum.

You can try calling AutoFAB Motorsports in my sig and see what they say. Batlground and Mahdavi have both had/have NHRA legal cars so i'm sure they know where to go. All of the Raceworks cars were done by a pro nascar chassis builder for SCCA spec. As David said, you'll want someone that has specifically done NHRA before, just as if you were doing SCCA/NASA you would want someone familiar with their rules. The worst thing ever is getting to the track and not passing tech for something like that

We have built tons of certified cages from Formula D, NHRA, NDRA, D1 , Drift Fury, Nopi Drift, etc

    Heres some examples:
    Honda Civic NDRA Race Car

    Tiger Racing D1 Drift Car

    Big Ballers S13

We also built Spoolins 700 whp EK Hatchback Rollcage for NHRA/NDRA . I have pics of it somehwere buti have to find it.

We normally charge anywhere from $900-1500 to install a cage, thats you supplying all material. The "prefab kits" also have a habit of having to be SEVERELY MODIFIED to work. we have done about 5 of them, youll save money on materials, but not labor
