Just get it tuned if you do carb it. you can do it by ear if you have any idea of what your doing until you can get it to the dyno but TUNE THE BITCH when you get everything running. its a must for reliability and performance

how could that work? if it is an EFI system, i dont believe it is possible. I believe u can pull ur EFI motor out and swap it for a carb'd motor. bc it does not require all the electronics

it can be done, the blocks and heads will work fine as long as you have the carb manifold, seen it done. the motor itself doesnt require electronics, the fuel injection does

right so i can just get the intake manifold and carb then tune it and what not and like all the fuil injection goes right? cause im getting a 5.0 but id rather buy one out of later year and then swap to carb because of less miles and what not.

you can run a carb but you have to buy a fuel system and what not. I recommend welding in a sump and running a cheap but still good holley blue pump. If you have a motor up to i think 91 it will have forged pistons and I have spryed 250 on stock stuff. car ran 7.20s with a 5 speed. lol
