I'd go with GSR head with sk2 intake manifold

Last time I checked, SK2 manifold doesn't help an NA motor much at all. It's for boost applications.

are you saying that a b16 head flows better than a b18c1 head?

the B16 head is known to flow better in stock condition than the GSR head does. b18c5 which is itr , port and polished from factory of course it will flow even better. Basicly budget wise.

the SK2pro series is a drastict improvment in air flow over the stock gsr intake manifold...thats why i would pick this setup over a b16

somone said that gsr has two stages of vtec so it would be better to get b16 so it pulls all the way threw

lolol, butterfly's in the intake manifold is not VTEC

First, what's the purpose of the build? Second, what's the buget?

The B18c5 [ITR] head is a mildly ported version of the B16 head. Your weak point on this setup, whether a B16 or GS-R head, is the B20 block... what do you plan on doing to it before even putting the head on?

arp rod bolts is a must for a lasting ls b20 vtec everything else just re inforces it but if u dont change the rod bolts they will loosen up n throw that rod out the block
