I was thinking about getting an rx-8, but I have little experience with n/a cars. When I removed all the cats from my last wrx, the check engine light went off until I got an O2 sensor fix. Would the same thing happen if i removed all the cats off my rx-8, and would it really help that ,much anyway. I know that getting a good tune with a fuel controller (ie., Apexi s-afc, greddy e-manage) helps out catless turbo cars with getting the most power without running too rich or lean. Would getting a Apexi s-afc have the same benefits on an rx-8 as it would have on a turbo car in terms of controlling the fuel-air ratio?
