    Like I said, in what?

Yes, I watched dukes of hazard, didn't everybody? Don't get me wrong, I love the older dodges and plymouths. They had great style and the 426 is a great motor, but they didn't dominate the others. They were still outpowered and out sold. They dominated stockcar for a short time, but that was due to the rules and a large advantage they had. Theres a reason why they have very little race winning background when compared to the others. When they did win, it was only because they had MOPAR (more power), and that ended when that advantage was taken from them.

And the word MoPar is screaming redneck, lol. You do realize it came from the phrase "more power".

No, thats what the I6 mustangs were for. When did they have a cobra mustang in the 60's and 70's? Wasn't aware of one.

    BTW, thats a beautiful mustang

i would even go so far as to say before that when the first circle track guys and salt flat racers started the racing thing off, and you could even say when the moonshine runners started to make their cars fast to outrun the popo, thats how nascar was started

True, I watched a show on the history channel a while back about it and where the term "muscle car" came from. Its roots where back in the 40's I believe, but it wasn't until the 50's the factories acknowledged the term.

It was talking about how the runners would swap bigger engines into thier cars in the 40's to make them faster. Pretty neat stuff, but I am a history buff.

Those are cool. The AMX is probably the most undervalued muscle car out there. They are not great lookers but they defenetly get the job done with the right motor.
