Default Car is running lean at steady speeds..

Ok....so here is my Specs. I have a JDM B16a with a LS tranny I believe...In my 91 CRX. I just purchased the car not to long ago cheap. It is having some trouble though. When I first crank up my car for the first time of the day it runs good. I will drive it for probably 10 minutes and thats when the problem begins. When Im going about 45-50 at a steady pace about every 2 seconds my Air/Fuel ratio leans out. I have a Air/Fuel gauge in my car. When the car does this every 2 seconds it sputters...then picks back up and then sputters. If I have the throttle wide open I dont have any problems. If there is anymore details just let me know. Im trying to narrow down the problem. So if anyone as some advice it woud be awsome! Thanks! -ChaD

I got the car cheap, because it was from a friend. The motor pulls strong and other than this problem well. The air/fuel gauge was already installed. The only reason I brought it up is I figured it may help understand the problem. So is there anyone that can help out?

totally disregarding what the a/f guage is saying, your car is sputtering at 40-50mph at cruising throttle position?

let's give the guage a little bit of credibility, when was the last time the car had a new fuel filter? what about spark plug wires?

Im not sure when it last had new plugs or fuel filter. When I got the car it ran kinda ruff because it had been sitting. My friend went to Iraq and its just been chillin. So when I got it I changed the oil and ran some engine cleaner through it. It ran alot better after I did that.

Yes, it is doing that while just cruising. If I push the pedal in more the problem goes away. When I hold it in one place it goes for a minute then just about every 2-3 seconds I hear a " Blap" ( This is when the gauge goes to lean). Its not a loud noise or anything its just a change in the sound of the exhaust. I guess it could sound like a misfire or something.

Keep in mind it doesnt do this until the car warms up after driving about 5-10 minutes. Thanks for the help Z U L8R!

You should give the car a full tune up.
