    Default Changin Oil with kit on

    alright so i have my lip kit on and well, its going to be a bitch and a half to get up my ramps so i can change the oil, any idea's on how the hell im going to do this? i would just use a jack and some stands or something, but i dont have jacks or stands haha, so yeah, give me some idea's please cuz i dont want to go to some place and pay 40 bucks unless its the only thing possible. sorry if this is a stupid question, but i wana know what i can do so that i can get into a habit of doing it now that i have a kit on.

    yeah but i mean i would think it would still want to scrape it cuz a peice of wood is still small and you have a lot of ramp to go up....

    use ur stock jack to raise it enough to slide the ramps underneath. but u eithger have to get a second jack from another car or do one side at a time.... ur best bet tho is in the future buy a jack for a lowered car and some stands... also u can buy the oil u use and go to a shop and pay them 10 bucks to just change the oil...

    Eh I say just buy the oil and take it to a place to do it for $10 bucks. Shit saves you the time and I mean it's only $10...

    or if ur really picky about it take of the front bumper should give u enough clearance to get up on the ramps without fucking it up...

    na its not that, i mean i have changed my oil countless times on my own, its just the matter of not having to take off the front lip so that i can get up my ramps. thats the only thing man

    the bumper comes off in 3 minutes.....by far less time than it takes to make and reply to this thread....all you need is a phillips screwdriver and 10mm socket (preferably with an extension and swivel to make life easier) 3 MINUTES tops.

    the only thing is that most shops dont have a rack you can get your car on, except a split rack, thats the oonly rack i can get my car on, and even then we have to lift up on the fenders to slide the rack under it. just buy some oil and filter and go to a place that has a pit, and pay like 10-15bucks.

    It means that if you are having this much trouble with just a oil change "god forbid you get a flat".lol I use 2x4's and get it on a lift, but it should also work with your ramps. It might make them lean back though. I've seen a muffler shop have some really long ramps to clear lowered cars. You should still be able to jack your car up. I think you are making this more difficult than it needs to be. And change your sig name.lol j/k
