tranny ?
The other day on my way back from skool i was stuck in traffic and felt a knock in my pedals shifting form 1st to 2nd. I turned down my music and began to listen didn't hear it angain until like 20min. later. I was once again shifting from 1st to 2nd and hear the knock and also felt it in the pedals. Is my transmission slipping or is it something else? I really need to know What this might be, cuz i travel everyday to Gwinnett Tech from Henry county for skool.

Everytime i change from 1st to 2nd i hear like a clunking noise, i can also feel the clunking in the pedals. But only when shifting from 1st to 2nd, and it's happen 5 or 6 times in the past 3 days.
check for broken motor mounts.

^^ most likely a motor or tranny mount, put up the e-brake and get a friend to let the car in gear slowly and give it a little gas (it's called brake-torquing) try it in 1st and then in reverse, what you're looking for is excessive movement of the engine, that'll let you know if there's a mount bad, while they're brake torquing the motor you'll be looking at the mounts to see if any are broken, gl
Well the clunking did happen at all today. I drove to skool and work never heard or felt a thing.I tryed moving of at different speeds and engine Temps to see if it was the tranny. 1st i moved off real slow NOTHINGOriginally Posted by Z U L8R

Also would i have to remove the spray guards to see if it is the tranny mounts?
