    Default Forged Performance - Dean's 2010 EVO X - 400 whp @ 26 psi on 93 Octane

Dean brought us his nearly new, gorgeous 2010 EVO X ready for some serious upgrades. With just 1700 miles on the odometer, he couldn't wait to get started modding the car. Rather than stepping into some basic mods first, he decided he wanted a fairly extensive stock block build while still retaining fast spool and solid midrange. After a few phone conversations and some strategic planning, we came up with a setup that would fit Dean's needs perfectly:

    - Cobb AccessPORT
    - Cosworth MX1 Cams
    - ARP Headstuds
    - Perrin EBCS
    - CBRD BBX Turbo
    - AMS Intake
    - AMS FMIC and hard I/C piping
    - Tial Recirculating BOV
    - AMS Downpipe
    - Cobb Catback Exhaust and Test Pipe
    - Deatschwerks 850cc Fuel Injectors
    - Walbro Fuel Pump
    - Cobb ProTune by Sharif@Forged

This car is a BLAST to drive! Spool up is nearly vertical, so much that our Dyno Dynamics load based dyno had trouble stabilizing the load as the boost ramped up. The CBRD BBX turbocharger spooled up faster than a nearly identical build we did on a previous customer's Evo X. At 4000 rpms, we are seeing 90ft/lb improvement over the FP Red. We didn't loose any power up top either. It pulls strong and makes power all the way to the limiter.

I dig your choice in upgrades man, very awesome.
It's not speeding that kills, it's suddenly stopping that gets you.
